ATELIER SILKE WEISS
The aid organization "Hand in Hand" is an international humanitarian organization and supports people in need, helps sick and needy children in India (Odisha) and gives them education and a home.
I support the aid project www.handinhand.at with artistic activities.
My artistic projects are diverse. I design two- and three-dimensional things, mainly for clients in public spaces. I develop concepts and, as far as possible, also implement them independently or take on project management.
I work with different materials such as stone, glass or wood. The most important thing for me is to grasp and absorb the spirit of the place, the "genius loci", in order to then adjust the design accordingly.
My goal is to create wonderful and uplifting places where people can breathe deeply and in the beauty and sound of nature.
